The real Cleopatra

This piece of crap is so racist as to be beyond belief.... Did you know the iconic Cleopatra was a white women in real life OH YES she was a Greek!! So why Angelina Jolie's being criticized for her skin color is beyond me. And the severe and apparent lack of knowledge is astounding and simply stupid. Come on people get over your self grown up shut up and give credit were it is due.. Guess what being white does not mean being bad and Fuck all the people who think its ok to be a racist piece of trash. GUESS WHAT I'M WHITE AND PROUD!!

Piece of crap racist article

The Real Cleopatra

The Egyptians were not black and up until the Greeks where not white. The Egyptians looked something more like the Chinese or Japanese and probably closer to the Mongolians or Native Americans , just look at the Nefertiti bust for this example. I'm sick of the race war over this time of history. Black and white can not win because the Egyptians until the
Ptolemaic dynasty were neither black or white.
If it is true Egyptians were black then it is also true they were slave owners of the Jewish who are very pail in comparison. So this means I can scream racism? Steal other peoples history? Pretend im better than everyone else? Like im entitled to payment and more rights? The ability to put other races down and pretend im not a racist? Anyone who gets offended by my statement is a racist. Racism is not just against one skin color it can happen to anyone, just because a person is black does not make them exempt from being a racist.

Elfquest

Elfquest

Not a comic a lot of people have heard of, I know this for a fact because when I'm ask about things I like and bring this up I am looked at as if I have grown 4 heads suddenly. None the less this comic series is very close to my heart. When I was an unloved unwanted 15 year old kid in foster homes where I was tormented, belittled and abused, I found this wonderful series. By then it had been wrote into a book. On a trip to the library one day I wondered threw the place poking and picking at the books. I liked reading but I was just glad I was not still at the foster house lonely and board again when I stumbled upon this book. The drawing on the cover was really excellent and drew me right in I turned the book over and read the back and I was in love right then. I went back to the dismal house and went into my room where I lay in my bunk bed and started my escape. I didn't stop reading the book for days and even after I finished the book it stayed with me. I hated returning the book because it had been the only real escape I had ever gotten, I got to forget at least for a few days that the life I was in was hell. I found the book again after much searching around 19 and met the writer of the book Richard Pini thought at first I had forgotten the name of the book and did not know at the time I was speaking to my favorite author. I talked about the book a bit with him and he finally told me yes that sounds like our book and I agreed to purchase one. After it arrived I was delighted it was the same book! I was so happy I looked everywhere for more of the series and at another library I found The Blood of Ten Chiefs a series to the original I had fallen in love with. I read one of the books from the library so often the librarian finally just gave me the book. later when I was in my mid 20's my mother finished my Blood of Ten Chiefs collection as I had the first 2 already. These books were so very dear to me and got me threw many a hard time. I took them on an ill fated trip with me at one point and all of them were either stolen or destroyed. This hurt a great deal, I don't think I can convey how hurt I was not with a million words. Now I have found Elfquest again and am saddened beyond words that the books are almost all but out of print, there are only a few remaining one can buy. The worst part about all of it is I can not afford any of them so I will have to forever let go of one of my few escapes and happy memory's in my life, anyone else would think me silly but I really want to grieve over this.

Anyway I found someone with a blog saying just what I would want to as well and want to share her words.

Book of the Month: Elfquest

Posted in book of the month on Jul 07, 2010

Today is my birthday. And to me, this has everything to do with this month’s choice, especially since Elfquest is (sadly) basically out of print at this point (you can still find it around, sure, if you look). It’s really just a self-indulgent one. You can read all of it online here so you don’t have to spend any money to do so.

I know Elfquest is kind of a punchline for a lot of people, but as a 12-year-old, it was really the coolest thing ever. It had an epic story with a well-conceived mythology as well as a good mix of non-threatening sex and violence. You want to make fun of it now, sure, but that’s because you haven’t read it. It’s much better than you think it is. Trust me.

Wendy Pini was really one of the first women I was aware of who was making comics (this was back in the early ’90s, before the Internet, before things are now, and I didn’t get out much) and I don’t think she gets enough credit. I think I’ve said it before, but Wendy Pini was drawing anime-inspired comics before you even knew what anime was. Everyone who’s doing “American manga” now? I think you have Wendy to thank for paving the way, personally.

No, maybe Elfquest isn’t high art, but it’s smart, escapist fantasy and so much fun. I loved it as a kid and I still love it now. I remain impressed by the depth of storytelling.

So fine, this month’s choice isn’t exactly a book, but I still think you need to read it. If you do, consider that a great birthday present to me.

Sex change operation

So sex changes............ No I don't want one I have just been thinking about them a lot lately. You know I don't know why I have been thinking about them a lot I just have. But it does get hard to look at the pictures. I don't even have a penis and it hurt my penis. I could have one if I wanted to change my sex. I scared this teenage kid once by telling him I had a sex change when I was in my early 20s, I can't even tell you why I did it except he was kinda creepy, after the look of horror on his face went away he ran away from me really quick. I'm thinking he had been wanking about me and felt sicked at what he may have wanked about, it was so hilarious!! Now I would have suspected he would have spread this news around and I was kinda disappointed when he didn't. I guess no one would believed him as I had given birth :(. I tried telling another kid but I couldn't stop laughing because my friend Christina wouldn't stop laughing.

Apparently if someone has had a female sex change operation how you can tell is that the vagina has a lot of scarring, the vagina does have differences but not enough for you to notice if you are not looking for them. And you really need to be looking. It is apparently a lot harder to make a penis for a male sex change operation and make it work. Often the penis is smaller in nature and often it will have some of the vaginal identifiers, also the head of the penis is smoother than that of a natural males. It also takes much longer to make the penis unlike the vagina that is almost done at once. The penis has to be built up over a matter of time until it reach a male type fullness. Wow the world of sex change is so interesting. the things we can now do is beyond belief. I'm not sure i can post the pictures i have been looking at. So you will just have to be satisfied reading my research.

Snow

This is truly my ideal of heaven!

Snowing from David Michael Lamb on Vimeo.

I have become obsessed with snow this year....I have always loved snow and winter but im wearing snowflake earrings a necklace and bracelet I have even painted snowflakes on my finger nails! I think I have snow madness :/. I have been becoming increasingly irritated that there is not already piles of snow outside and im jealous as hell that Scotland is already covered in snow!! I feel it unfair :(.....I talk about snow and it snowing constantly ( jeez I must be annoying to be around) I cut snowflakes out of paper at work, I draw them, I have even painted a painting of them. What in the world is going on with me??!! Ok yes I defiantly have snow madness. I think I need professional help.

Science of Snowflakes

By David Ropeik

It’s widely believed that no two snowflakes are alike — but it turns out that there are various forms of snowflakes, making the tale a bit more complicated. For better or verse, here’s the whole story, including the lowdown on rain, hail and sleet.

Because of the way that they grow,
Each frozen white crystal of snow
Is thought in our mind
To be one of a kind.
But guess what: It just isn’t so.

When H2O molecules freeze,
Hexagons form with great ease.
Molecular bonds
Like magical wands
Form the six-sided shapes snowfall sees.

Dendrite flakes, with their six crystal wings,
Are among nature’s loveliest things.
These flakes are unique,
No two can you seek
Just the same in the white winter brings.

But at temperatures lower or higher
In air that’s more humid, or drier,
Different shapes grow:
Less unique flakes of snow
That develop much simpler attire.

Needles, and Columns, and Plates
Are flakes with identical mates.
Like wheels on a bike
These flakes look alike.
Each type has quite similar traits.

But the turbulent winds of a storm
With temperatures both cold and warm
And mixed moisture sources
Create varying forces
That cause complex mixed crystals to form.

So while some flakes can all look the same,
Most are not nearly so tame.
They’re all based on a “hex,”
But they’re just as complex
As the Nature from whence each one came.

Now raindrops, and sleet, even hail
Are part of a simpler tale:
Though they vary in size
Like a bunch of french fries
Each forms the same way without fail.

Big drops fall from moist warmer air,
Or when smaller drops join, way up there.
Hailstones will grow
When strong updrafts blow.
A thunderstorm has those to spare.

Sleet’s just a raindrop that froze
Before it crashed into your nose
Wet rain that falls
And then freezes on walls
Is freezing rain. Traffic it slows.

Each type of cold precipitation
Has its own origination.
We suffer together
The wet winter weather
No matter our town, state, or nation.

Traffic

I was looking through my stats, cos I just now found out how to do that. And I was impressed by just how many people come to search for... stuff in my blog.
What impressed me the most was that people keep looking and coming for thanksgiving pictures and stealing them off my post.
I bet they didn't even bother reading it.
The next biggest search I come across is knitted willy warmers. I think I should get my husband one of those for Christmas as I have it posted and all that jazz, and he hasn't even bothered to try one out.
I put up something about Halloween this year, and that's already got a lot of hits. I have no clue why. They are probably just stealing the pictures.
Now my very favourite search has to be for "gay anal love" on my Brokeback Mountain post. And while this may seem strange to you, I sit here finding myself wishing they were looking for things like "bloody tampons" and "botched boob jobs" and "freakish penises". 'Course I never blogged about any of that so it would be strange if they found it on my blog. But a girl can have dreams. You know I probably need to blog about that stuff if I want it to be searched for.
Christmas is coming and I already put up all of my Christmas decorations and have started buying Christmas gifts because, I am that bored. I bet you're wondering why I'm talking about that now, I'm wondering too.
I have to go get ready for my real job now.
